Experience: 1–3 Years PQE | Employment Litigation & Counselling

A leading global firm is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Employment & Labour practice in Southern California. The team advises fast-growing companies, established corporates, and emerging tech clients across contentious and advisory matters. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex employment issues while receiving strong mentorship and taking on early client-facing responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support litigation matters, including case development, legal research, motion practice, depositions, and all aspects of discovery.

  • Conduct witness interviews and internal investigations.

  • Draft briefs, memoranda, employment agreements, and policy documents.

  • Advise clients on employment practices, statutory and regulatory compliance, and policy development.

  • Collaborate closely with senior lawyers and help mentor junior associates.

Who You Are:

  • 1–3 years of broad employment law experience at a reputable firm.

  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with an excellent academic record.

  • Comfortable handling both litigation and counselling work.

  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong communication and client service abilities.

  • Member of the California Bar (required).

Compensation:

Salary Range: $225,000 – $260,000 DOE
