Corporate Transactions Associate – Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or New York

Salary Range: $240,000 to $350,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in venture capital/early-stage financings, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling.
• Experience in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other commercial transactions.
• Strong document drafting, project management, and client interaction skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• JD from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a broad mix of emerging companies and venture capital financings, M&A, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters.
• Work with publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, investors, and entrepreneurs.
• Manage transaction processes, document preparation, and client communication with a high level of responsibility and autonomy.
• Develop strong, long-term client-facing relationships within a collaborative and dynamic team.
