Requirements:

3 to 6 years of experience handling mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies.

Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating principal acquisition documents.

Background in cross-border transactions and global restructurings is a plus.

Illinois Bar admission required.

Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.

Excellent communication, organizational, and client-facing skills.

The successful candidate will advise on complex domestic and international transactions and work closely with partners and clients on high-profile deals. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support M&A transactions across various industries.

Draft and negotiate stock purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, and related deal documents.

Conduct due diligence and advise clients on transaction structure and risks.

Coordinate with cross-practice teams on tax, employment, IP, and regulatory issues.

Handle post-closing integration and governance matters.

Support junior associates and contribute to team development.
