Overview:
A top-tier regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel-level attorney to join its Business Immigration and Compliance practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial employment-based immigration experience, deep regulatory knowledge, and strong writing and client advisory skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead preparation and review of nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-1/E-2) and immigrant (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3) visa petitions

Draft RFE responses, complex PERM filings, and extraordinary ability petitions

Advise corporate clients on I-9, E-Verify, and immigration-related compliance in connection with M&A and internal audits

Develop customized immigration strategies tailored to clients across diverse industries

Manage client communication and oversee time-sensitive, high-volume caseloads

Collaborate with team members across offices and practice groups
Requirements:

6+ years of business immigration experience (broad-based)

J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (CT preferred)

Demonstrated experience with immigration compliance, due diligence, and government inspections

Familiarity with case management systems and billing protocols

Excellent legal writing and analytical skills; ability to independently draft complex filings and correspondence

Passion for immigration law and regulatory compliance
