A leading international law firm is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of 3 years of commercial litigation experience to join its Los Angeles office. This position is ideal for an attorney looking to grow within a high-level litigation practice handling complex and high-stakes matters in both California state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and respond to complaints with minimal supervision

  • Lead responsibility for drafting discovery responses and pre-trial motions (e.g., demurrers, motions to dismiss, MSJ, discovery motions)

  • Conduct legal research and draft high-quality memoranda and briefs

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in trial preparation and court proceedings

  • Deposition experience (taking and defending) is a strong plus

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with stellar academic credentials

  • Must be admitted to practice in California

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience at a reputable law firm

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Strong understanding of California state and federal litigation procedures

  • Trial or arbitration experience is a plus
