A top-tier international law firm is seeking a talented antitrust associate with 2–4 years of experience to join its Chicago or Washington, DC office. This is a premier opportunity to work on complex, high-impact antitrust matters across M&A, merger clearance, investigations, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on a broad range of antitrust matters including merger review, investigations, and enforcement

  • Assist with HSR filings and matters involving competitive overlaps and vertical relationships

  • Support complex M&A transactions from a regulatory competition perspective

  • Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and prepare client presentations and regulatory submissions

  • Participate in client meetings and work collaboratively with internal teams and external co-counsel

Candidate Requirements

  • 2–4 years of antitrust experience, ideally in a major law firm or regulatory agency

  • Experience with M&A antitrust reviews, HSR filings, and competition-related counseling

  • Demonstrated ability to manage matters efficiently and with attention to detail

  • Excellent academic credentials and communication skills

  • Admission to the Illinois or DC Bar (or ability to waive in)

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $225,000 – $260,000 depending on class year and experience
