A top-tier law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate (3+ years PQE) to join its dynamic and fast-paced Los Angeles office. This opportunity offers high-impact work on sophisticated commercial disputes across California and nationally. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience handling all stages of litigation—from pleadings and discovery through motion practice and trial preparation.

About the Team
This elite litigation team represents global clients in complex, high-stakes commercial disputes. Known for strategic litigation acumen, collaboration, and strong mentorship, the group works on a wide range of matters including business torts, class actions, regulatory enforcement, and cross-border disputes.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to complaints in California state and federal courts

• Take lead on drafting motions to dismiss, demurrers, summary judgment, and discovery-related motions

• Manage and respond to discovery, including depositions and document production

• Prepare for and support trials and hearings

• Work closely with partners and clients on case strategy and execution

Who You Are

• 3+ years of commercial litigation experience at a well-regarded firm

• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills

• Experience taking and defending depositions preferred

• Trial experience or trial prep is a strong plus

• Member of the California Bar (or eligible to waive in)

• Excellent academic credentials

Compensation
Base Salary: $260,000 – $310,000 (DOE)
Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses available
