A highly regarded entertainment boutique law firm in New York is seeking a mid-level associate to join its IP transactions practice. The team advises across the media, entertainment, the Arts and technology, with clients ranging from major global brands to innovative start-ups and individual artists.

The Role

You will structure, draft, negotiate, and analyze agreements across:

• Publishing, editorial content, and licensing deals
• Content production for TV, film, podcasts, and live events
• Media brand collaborations and sponsorships
• Distribution and marketing arrangements (including influencer and social media work)
• Brand integration, advertising technology, and data licensing
• Advising on laws governing advertising, promotions, and new technologies such as AI and web3

This is a client-facing role with the opportunity to refine your drafting skills, lead negotiations, and provide practical, creative legal advice.

About You

• 3+ years of transactional experience (minimum 1 year in a law firm)
• Admitted in New York
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Demonstrable interest in media, entertainment, and technology
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
