The Opportunity
A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Derivatives Associate to join its top-ranked derivatives and structured products practice in New York.
The group advises financial institutions, investment funds, and corporates on a full spectrum of equity, credit, and structured derivatives transactions — including accelerated share repurchases, convertible bonds, margin loans, call spreads, issuer forward sales, and other complex products.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of equity, credit, and structured derivatives transactions.
 - Draft ISDA-based documentation, confirmations, and related transactional agreements.
 - Support clients on Dodd-Frank compliance and related regulatory developments.
 - Work cross-functionally with capital markets, tax, finance, and regulatory teams on innovative transactions.
 
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Junior/Mid-Level/Senior Associates Or Counsel Level experience at a leading law firm or financial institution.
 - Experience in derivatives, structured finance, or capital markets.
 - Strong drafting and analytical skills; ability to handle complex structures.
 - Excellent academic credentials (top law school preferred).
 - Bar admission in New York (or eligible to waive in).
