Mergers & Acquisitions Associate – Atlanta, GA
A leading Am Law 100 firm is seeking a talented mid-level M&A Associate (4–6 years’ experience) to join its nationally recognized Corporate & M&A practice in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile, sophisticated private equity and M&A transactions within a collaborative and globally integrated team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- 
Managing complex M&A projects, timelines, and deal execution
 - 
Drafting and negotiating equity and asset purchase agreements, along with ancillary documents
 - 
Conducting and summarizing legal due diligence for private equity and private target M&A deals
 - 
Collaborating with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors on strategic transactions
 - 
Delivering clear, actionable advice with excellent written and oral communication skills

What we’re looking for:
- 
A strong academic background (JD required, with excellent law school credentials)
 - 
Admission to the Georgia Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
 - 
4–6 years of substantive experience at a top-tier law firm in M&A and/or corporate transactions
 - 
Exceptional attention to detail, ownership mentality, and a strong work ethic
