Client Principal
The People Of: Tech is working with a hyper-growth digital transformation consultancy to headhunt a sales-focused individual to join them in developing existing accounts as well as generating new business.
This is a Client Principal position otherwise called Head of Business Development, Business Development Manager, Industry Lead, Consultant or similar. The position offers a basic salary in the region between £80-120,000 plus OTE and additional benefits. OTE will be dependent on target and typically 50% of salary paid annually. The position can be based UK-wide as our client benefits from multiple offices throughout the country.
The ideal candidate will be strong in both account management and winning new business. Ideally, you’ll be a consultant who has a consultancy background in digital transformation & technology such as cloud consulting, cloud migrations, Product design or otherwise in marketing research, data & insight operations across a particular sector whether that be retail & consumer, Healthcare & Pharma, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services of Government. This is a new position that can be based UK-wide.
Our client is privately owned and has grown fast since their inception just over 4 years ago to employ a team of over 500 individuals. They are eager to triple their headcount over the next 3 years. Although not quite a prominent name in the tech consultancy space just yet, for those that do know them, they are held in very high regard.
As the client-facing principal consultant, you will drive new business, grow existing accounts and develop strategies company-wide. You will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, target-driven environment and you’ll be able to adapt to how the company evolves. You will be a confident communicator, a go-getter, and a strategic operator.
Responsibilities:
- Develop existing accounts via cross-sell, yup sell and strengthen existing relationships
- Develop new client base and onboard new logos
- Cross-industry mix (Retail, consumer, travel, gaming or could be Government, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare & pharma)
- Understand pain points and suggest compelling solutions
Requirements
- Consultancy experience preferably with digital transformation and Technology. Or otherwise Data, analytics and insight.
- Sales experience – avg deal size at least £100k.
- Annual targets of £1mil plus
- Open to international sales experience
- Consultative approach – not high volume/transactional
This role is based UK-wide and will require occasional travel. Remuneration for this role is completely dependent on experience but will offer a basic salary between £80-120k with OTE and additional bens.
