The People Of: is seeking an eCommerce & Marketing Director to join our client, a highly reputable family-owned retail business based in Yorkshire.

What we are looking for?

This post requires a high-calibre, ambitious & proven omnichannel marketing expert with an impressive track record. The ideal candidate will already be operating at Director level. They should have a performance marketing bias with good knowledge of broader marketing (TV, Brand, PR etc). In addition to this, you’ll need people management skills capable of leading teams of around 50 individuals across marketing.

Based in Yorkshire, 3 days per week in the office are required. Package circa £120-150k + LTIP’s

Overview

A fantastic opportunity to spearhead the strategic direction of the company’s eCommerce and marketing endeavours. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will sit on the operating board, shaping the future of the organisation and leading a talented marketing & eCommerce team over 50 strong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a robust eCommerce and marketplace strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Drive revenue optimization, enhance brand recognition, and foster customer loyalty across all sales channels.
  • Provide visionary leadership, inspiring and empowering your team to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Champion innovation by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and optimizing user experiences.
  • Take ownership of budgeting, P&L management, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business goals.

This eCommerce and Marketing Director opportunity is based in Yorkshire (York or Leeds) and benefits from flexible working options. It would suit a Northern-based individual with a solid track record leading eCommerce & marketing teams within a fast-paced D2C environment. A relocation package is not completely off the table and potentially may be discussed with the MD along with LTIP’s.
