An elite Am Law firm is seeking a mid to senior level Energy & Infrastructure Associate (Class of 2021–2019) to join its Houston-based projects group. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-value transactions within a premier platform focused on energy, infrastructure, and power assets across North America and beyond.

About the Team
The team represents major developers, sponsors, lenders, and strategic investors on complex project development, acquisitions, and financings. You’ll work closely with market-leading partners in a collaborative environment that values autonomy, technical excellence, and commercial instinct.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support energy and infrastructure M&A and/or project finance transactions

Draft and negotiate project and finance documents including credit agreements, purchase agreements, and development contracts

Advise on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions involving conventional and renewable energy assets

Coordinate with cross-functional teams on regulatory, tax, and environmental issues

Who You Are
3–6 years of experience with a focus on project finance and/or M&A

Comfortable leading transactions and managing client relationships

Strong analytical and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail

JD from a top-tier law school and strong academic record

Member of the Texas Bar (or eligible to waive in)

Compensation
Salary Range: $305,000 – $390,000 (DOE)
