An entertainment boutique headquartered in New York is seeking a transactional IP Associate to join its growing team focused on intellectual property and entertainment law. Key Responsibilities
- 
Draft and negotiate agreements involving IP, talent, licensing, and content production
 - 
Vet scripts, podcasts, and publications for legal risk (defamation, privacy, etc.)
 - 
Advise startups, creators, and media platforms on copyright, fair use, and IP strategy
 - 
Support brand campaigns and advertising projects involving influencers and digital media
 - 
Contribute to the firm’s advisory and corporate work with creative and tech clients
 
Who You Are
- 
at least a years experience in intellectual property or transactional law (agreements, Licensing, commercial contracts etc)
 - 
Licensed in New York (or eligible to waive in)
 - 
Excellent drafting skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
 - 
Strong interest in entertainment, publishing, or tech-related legal work
 - 
Bonus if you’ve worked on matters involving creators, performers, or digital platforms
