Litigation Associate – Healthcare & Life Sciences (New York)

Location: New York, NY
Experience: 3+ years | Practice Area: Litigation (Federal Court Focus)
Salary Range: $160,000 – $200,000+ (based on experience)

A national boutique law firm with a strong footprint in healthcare and life sciences is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of 3 years of federal court experience to join its New York City office. The firm advises a broad range of healthcare clients, including hospitals, physician practices, labs, and life sciences companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting complex motions in both federal and state courts

• Managing discovery, including requests, responses, and objections

• Preparing for and taking depositions

• Handling arbitrations and government investigations

• Drafting client correspondence and negotiation materials

• Participating in settlement discussions and trial preparation

Candidate Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York

• 3+ years of federal litigation experience (healthcare or life sciences a plus)

• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred

• Prior work involving government investigations is a bonus (e.g., AUSA, AG office)

• Excellent research and writing skills essential

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred

• Willingness to work in-office most of the time
