Position: Litigation Mid-Level Associate

Location: Palo Alto, CA
Experience: 3–5 Years (Class of 2020–2022)

Job Description:

A prestigious international law firm seeks a litigation associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Palo Alto office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience including discovery, brief writing, and pre-trial preparation. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation matters in a highly collaborative and nationally recognized practice.

Prior federal clerkship experience is a plus. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent academic credentials, outstanding writing skills, and the ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• JD from a top-tier law school.

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial litigation.

• Strong writing, research, and case management skills.

• Admission to the California Bar is required.

• Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus.

• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work across offices and practices.

Practice Focus Areas:

• Complex commercial litigation

• Contract disputes

• Breach of fiduciary duty and fraud

• M&A and joint venture disputes

• Bankruptcy-related litigation

• Statutory and regulatory claims

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range: $260,000 – $365,000, commensurate with experience.
