Job Description:

A leading law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Intellectual Property Litigation practice in either the New York or Washington, D.C. office. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on cutting-edge patent litigation matters in a highly respected, collaborative team.

Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years of experience in patent litigation. A technical background is preferred but not required for candidates with substantive patent litigation experience. The role offers immediate responsibility, client interaction, and the opportunity to work with top-tier litigators on complex IP disputes.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of patent litigation experience at a major law firm.

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

• Strong academic credentials.

• Admission to the New York or D.C. Bar is required.

• Technical background (engineering, computer science, life sciences) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range: $260,000 – $310,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
