Job Description:
We are working with a premier international law firm that is seeking a mid-level associate to join its dynamic and fast-growing Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice in New York.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented attorney to advise on complex, high-value domestic and cross-border transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling leveraged buyouts, growth equity, joint ventures, and related private equity transactions. You will be responsible for negotiating key transaction documents, managing due diligence, and collaborating closely with senior partners and clients on strategic deals.
The team offers a high-performing, collaborative culture and is focused on supporting associates’ long-term development within the firm’s market-leading corporate group.
Qualifications:

4–6 years of relevant M&A and private equity experience at a major law firm

JD from a top-tier ABA-accredited law school
-
Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing

Demonstrated ability to manage deal processes and interface with clients

Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills

Strong academic record and business judgment

Experience with Am Law 100 or equivalent highly preferred
Compensation & Benefits:

Base Salary Range: $310,000 – $390,000 (based on experience and credentials)
