A highly respected Am Law 100 firm is seeking a mid-level M&A Associate (4–6 years PQE) to join its Corporate and M&A practice in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-stakes, cross-border M&A and private equity deals in a nationally recognized practice.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a collaborative and sophisticated M&A team working on high-value transactions involving private equity sponsors, strategic acquirers, and cross-border entities. Expect to take ownership of your work, interact directly with clients and advisors, and contribute meaningfully to all stages of the deal lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex M&A projects and timelines

  • Draft and negotiate equity and asset purchase agreements and other deal documentation

  • Conduct legal due diligence and summarize findings

  • Collaborate closely with partners, subject matter experts, and junior team members

  • Provide strategic, actionable advice to clients and their deal teams

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of solid M&A experience, ideally with exposure to private equity transactions

  • Experience managing all stages of a deal, from diligence to closing

  • Exceptional drafting, analytical, and communication skills

  • High attention to detail, commercial mindset, and ability to work under pressure

  • JD from a top law school and admission to the Georgia Bar (or eligible for waiver)
