Performance Marketing Manager

The People Of: Digital has partnered with a family-run luxury goods retailer based on the outskirts of York to recruit a performance marketing manager. It is a pleasure to work with this fantastic client who is well established with huge growth prospects. My client is like no other in Yorkshire – a luxury online retailer trading internationally from their York head office and manufacturing facilities in Italy. A close-knit group, personable, grounded, down to earth and simply put – doing things right.

The role taker – Paid Media Manager or Performance Marketing Manager will take ownership of paid media channels both PPC & Paid Social across all platforms including fb/insta, TikTok and also LinkedIn where our client also has an active customer base.

Responsibilities:

As Paid Media Manager you would be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of Performance Marketing Channels specifically PPC & Paid Social
  • Ensuring paid media is driving core KPIs whilst within budgets set
  • Managing all parts of a paid search campaign, including keyword research, copywriting, bidding, search term analysis and landing page optimisation
  • Managing all parts of a paid social campaign, including audience creation, copywriting, bidding, UTM tracker setup, and liaising with Design for creative
  • Google Analytics to gain insight into performance
  • Google Data Studio to automate aspects of paid media reporting
  • Excel to compile weekly and monthly reports as well as on an ad-hoc basis

Experience:

As Paid Media Manager or Performance Marketing Manager to be successful for this opportunity, you will need to be able to commute to York regularly. Aside from this, you will be strong across performance marketing within a D2C account. You will need to be commercially minded and strong numerically to ensure campaigns are optimised and provide a good ROI. You will be strategic and hands-on and be able to own the paid media channels within this SME luxury retail business.

  • Commercially minded and understand key performance metrics of campaigns and how these drive ROI and ROAS
  • Experienced using Google Data Studio to automate aspects of paid media reporting.
  • Ideally have Google Ads certifications and any other relevant certifications
  • Proactive in developing and executing strategy
  • Data-driven with a natural ability to iterate and optimise for improvement

Based in York the role taker will be required to have an office presence. Although there is flexibility there is an appetite for this role to be office based with the rest of the team.
