PR Manager

The People Of: Marketing are partnering with a prestigious retail brand that’s a one-hour train ride from Marleybone station. They offer hybrid working 1-2 days a week from home. The role is PR Manager, and the pay is circa £50k.

 

As the PR Manager, you’ll develop and execute strategic public relations initiatives to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and engagement. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to craft compelling PR campaigns, manage media relations, and drive positive coverage across traditional and digital channels.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies to support key business objectives and promotional activities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to generate coverage in print, online, and broadcast media.
  • Coordinate media opportunities, including interviews, press briefings, and product launches, to maximize brand exposure.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social media, and other teams to ensure PR efforts are integrated and aligned with overall brand messaging.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in PR roles, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong media relations skills, with a track record of securing high-impact coverage in national, regional, and trade outlets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive messaging.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and the ability to identify opportunities for storytelling and brand promotion.
