A leading international law firm with a global reputation for excellence in energy, infrastructure, and large-scale project development is seeking a Senior Associate (5+ years PQE) to join its Chicago office. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced attorney to lead on complex US and cross-border projects in the energy, mining, infrastructure, and commercial real estate sectors.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will manage high-value project development and construction transactions, draft and negotiate sophisticated engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, and oversee multi-site project rollouts. The role also involves client relationship management, training client teams on best practices, and supervising junior lawyers and staff.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant law firm experience

• Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing large-scale design and construction contracts (US and cross-border), including projects valued over $50M

• Deep experience in the energy, mining, infrastructure, and commercial real estate sectors

• Strong background advising on claims, risk management, and contract standardization for multi-site and LatAm projects

• Excellent project management and leadership skills

• Admission to practice law in Illinois
