The Opportunity
A prestigious Am Law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its National Security practice in Washington, D.C. This role offers the chance to advise leading corporations and institutions on some of the most pressing issues in international trade and global commerce. You’ll work with a highly regarded team at the forefront of U.S. national security and trade regulation.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Advise on international trade law, policy, and compliance issues
 - 
Handle matters relating to customs, export controls, sanctions, and trade remedies
 - 
Support clients navigating complex cross-border transactions and disputes
 - 
Contribute to policy strategy and regulatory engagement on trade matters
 - 
Collaborate with colleagues across practices on global investigations and enforcement
 
Who You Are
- 
6+ years’ experience in international trade law at a top law firm or government agency
 - 
Deep knowledge of trade remedies, customs regulations, and trade policy frameworks
 - 
Exceptional legal research, drafting, and advisory skills
 - 
Strong academic record from a highly regarded law school
 - 
Confident managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advice
 - 
Admission to the D.C. Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
 
Compensation & Benefits
💰 Salary Range: Expected between $310,000 – $435,000, commensurate with experience
