Position Overview: As the Account Director – Performance Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in our clients’ agency growth by overseeing a team of skilled Performance Marketing Account Managers and managing a varied portfolio of prestigious clients. You will be the driving force behind crafting and executing effective performance marketing strategies that deliver tangible results and exceed client expectations. Your expertise and leadership will guide the team to optimize campaigns across various digital channels, ensuring ROI and success. This position is a newly created role which will allow one of the founders to step up into a purely BD/Growth focussed role leaving the role taker to oversee the team of performance marketers!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Performance Marketing Account Managers, providing guidance and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and implement data-driven performance marketing strategies across channels such as PPC, SEO, social media advertising, display, and more.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in digital marketing to ensure our agency remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Manage budgets effectively, allocate resources, and provide accurate reporting to clients on campaign performance.
  • Foster strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for strategic discussions and updates.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, such as creative and content, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience (agency or client-side) in performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvements.
