Job Description:
A distinguished law firm in New York City is seeking a Tax Counsel to join its renowned Tax Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in transactional tax work, with a focus on leveraged finance and capital markets transactions. Responsibilities:

• Provide tax advice on leveraged finance and capital markets transactions.
• Collaborate with attorneys from other practice groups on transactional matters.
• Draft and review tax documents, contracts, and related legal materials.
• Manage relationships with clients and provide strategic advice on tax matters.
• Work on a variety of high-profile and complex transactions.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) required.
• Substantial experience in transactional tax work, particularly in leveraged finance and capital markets.
• Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this position is expected to be between $450,000 to $600,000, based on experience and other relevant factors.
